The new MSZ-AY wall unit has a high-quality, matte white finish. Its rounded edges and compact dimensions allow it to blend discreetly into any room.
With a sound pressure level starting at 18dB(A), the device is particularly quiet.
In night mode, operating tones are muted, the operating light is dimmed, and the outdoor unit operates 3 dB(A) quieter.
The MSZ-AY wall unit comes standard with a V-blocking filter.

Compact design

In the lower power outputs, the wall-mounted unit, with its compact dimensions of only 798 mm x 299 mm x 245 mm, allows for an inconspicuous and discreet installation in even the smallest room.

Horizontal air outlet

Ensures very comfortable air distribution, especially in cooling mode.

Night mode

The new night mode comfort function automatically reduces the sound pressure of the outdoor unit by -3dB(A).
Additionally, the LED on the indoor unit is dimmed and the remote control mutes the other beeping sound during operation.

Integrated V-blocking filter

The V-Blocking filter with antiviral effect inhibits 99% of adhering viruses and other pollutants such as bacteria, mold and allergens.
The two-layer filter with non-woven fabric and electrostatic coating can effectively capture and remove small particles from the room air.

MELCloud WiFi adapter

With the Wi-Fi device, you can remotely manage your air conditioner via the MEL-CLOUD app, which can be installed on a smartphone, tablet or PC.
These are the main functions of your air conditioner, even when you are not at home (a Wi-Fi connection is required for the connection to the internet unit).
It can also be used with Alexa voice control.
The new model supports the energy consumption monitoring function thanks to the MELCloud remote control system.
